TransporationPlease go to the Transportation Page for updates on Transportation from the airport to the ferry dock. NOTE: For those who need to catch an early flight on Sunday, remember that the first ferry from Bremerton to Seattle is at 6:20AM. There is another way to get to the airport. There is the KitsapAirporter Shuttle which runs throughout the night. They are not permitted to pick up in the Conference Center area, but they do have a pickup just a short taxi ride away (Burwell 76, Burwell & Montgomery). Their rates are reasonable. If you need to leave early - check out this alternative. Wednesday Night Dinner LocationDinner reservations have been made. We're all going to meet at Elliott's Oyster House - 1201 Alaskan Way - on Pier 56 - at 6:30PM. We'll share a nice relaxing, social evening together and then board the ferry for Bremerton. Announcing a Pre-Conference Panel and WorkshopOn Thursday, March 22nd, the International Listening Association and the Resolution Dispute Center of King County (Seattle) will present a special panel discussion and workshop titled: Making Peace Through Listening: A Panel and Workshop with a Focus on Conflict Resolution. The International Listening Association (ILA) is global organization whose mission is to promote the study, development, and teaching of listening and the practices of effective listening skills and techniques. The ILA promotes effective listening by establishing a network of professionals exchanging information including teaching methods, training experiences and materials, and pursuing research as listening affects humanity in, for example, business, education, and intercultural/international relations. This year's convention will focus on five key areas of listening:
